Proposal writing keeps getting easier. Ensis for Microsoft Word now lets you highlight requirements and instantly generate narrative-style sections that read like a single, well-structured story. No hunting, no pasting. Just one click to get from scattered inputs to a strong first draft. And coming soon: images. Ensis will automatically extract visuals from past proposals and make them searchable and reusable, so your best graphics are always at your fingertips.
Draft Complete Sections in Seconds
Turning requirements into a flowing section is usually a slog: hunting through libraries, pulling pieces of past responses, and stitching them into something coherent. Ensis now changes that with Narrative creation directly in Ensis for Word. Highlight the requirements you want to cover, and Ensis will pull in the right supporting details from your Resource library, then assemble them into polished prose that reads as a single, logical section. The result is a strong first draft that saves hours of searching and patchwork, so your SMEs can focus on sharpening the story instead of chasing inputs.
How it works:
Launch Ensis for Word. Open your draft proposal containing key requirements and activate the Ensis pane.
Select requirements. Highlight one or more requirements in the document that you want to address in the section.
Compose narrative. Click Create Narrative and watch Ensis build a cohesive section that addresses each selected requirement, with traceable sources.
Insert narrative. Click Insert to place the narrative in your proposal document.

That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Sources—a feature that gives you full transparency into how your AI-generated responses are created. With just a click, you can see the Resources, specific pages, and even your own revisions that contributed to each response. It’s all about giving you confidence and control.

How It Works
After generating responses, you’ll see a “View Sources” button with each response.
Click to open a list of the text the AI referenced within each Resource, complete with page numbers and links to download the full documents.

Take Control with Page Range Selection & Bulk Actions
You now have greater control over shredding by specifying where Ensis should search for key requirements within your opportunity. This focused approach enhances accuracy, particularly for large projects with multiple attachments. If you’re unsure of the location, you can indicate that no requirements are present or have Ensis review the entire document.

How It Works
Select the relevant pages where key requirements are located.
If you’re unsure, choose “All Pages” to have Ensis analyze the entire document.
If there are no requirements in the file, select “No requirements in this document”.
Ensis will then extract requirements from the specified pages while continuing to leverage all areas of each document for content generation.
This feature makes shredding more accurate while getting the most out of your documents for seamless, AI-powered content generation.
